What is Kids Ministry?
Restorers Church Kids Ministry partners with parents to help children know and love God with their whole hearts, souls, minds, and strength. We believe God has entrusted parents as the primary spiritual leaders in their homes, and we honor this by designing every part of our ministry around seven core values: safety, parent trust, leadership development, gospel-centered teaching, small groups, church integration, and intentional parent discipleship.
What We Do
Through our Sunday programs, we help kids discover the importance of studying God’s Word and growing in community with other children who follow Jesus.
The Basic Truth
The Basic Truths give children a clear foundation by explaining the gospel in language they can understand. Kids will learn and memorize these truths and are encouraged to believe them, live them out, and share them with others.
THE PROGRAMMING
Each Sunday, preschool and elementary children gather in both large and small group settings. During large group time, kids worship together and learn biblical truths before moving into age-specific small groups. In these smaller groups, children study Scripture while building meaningful relationships with their peers and leaders.
THE CHRONLOGICAL CURRICULM
Each year through our Sunday programming, children journey through a curriculum that tells the full story of the Bible in chronological order. We believe it’s vital for kids to see how every part of Scripture points to Jesus. By exploring God’s plan of redemption in a clear, kid-friendly way, we help children understand their need for Jesus and the gift of salvation He offers.
